Since fitting my 1600 16v i want more power... its addictive..

My plans are....

A Janspeed 4-2-1 manifold
Dbilas Vernier pullies
Mild Ported head
Remap the ecu and rolling road tune

i want to exceed 140bhp

any more suggestions?

i wouldn't say there was much point in verniers without fitting lumpier cams first.

I have a Janspeed manifold on mine, made a hell of a difference, but i have Mantzel.

TBH, i wouldn't bother doing anything without fitting an aftermarket inlet. The original is restrictive.

Dbilas or Mantzel are good, both are still available.

It'll be hard trying to exceed 140 without it. unless you go for TB's or Carbs.

you can optimise the standard cams with verniers

Jas, that will get you the power you want, no probs, mine made 130bhp with that spec and no cams/pullies

after that, you'll want to get aftermarket management and should be able to get 150-160bhp

but yeah should have said i have kent cams and a lexmaul, with full blueflame system and decat
