Done about 100 miles now my corsa is back on the road, running fine everything seems ok in that department bar a couple of vaccum hoses, but as i let the clutch in and out and when i go over bumps and put my foot down, theres a clonking noise coming from the wheel, and you can feel something knocking.
Have a feeling its my cv joints but could it be a ball joint? What would have caused this? Can a cv joint just pop out?
Going too have a look in a bit see if i can see anything.

could be lots of things, if the engine has just been fitted check the tie bars are bolted nice and tight onto the front crossmember as these can come loose after a while and the anti roll bar.

the boots on the cv's into the hubs have sliped off as there is grease on my wheels, those metal clip things are crap!

cv joints look fine, and all the nuts are tight on the bolts.
One thing i have noticed is my offside wheel is roughly 20mm further back than my near side wheel, and what happens when i turn the wheels is the offside wheel catches where my arch meets the sideskirt!
