my car seems to be drinking alot of water but some days it's fine and others it drinks alot. checked all over cant find a leak and iam pritty sure it aint getting in the engine. has any one else had this problem? what was it?
my cars a 1.4 16v sport

quick way to check wether itd be in the engine would be to check the breather pipes on the rocker cover and the oil cap for mayonaise

if it has the scummy white, then u'll be needing a head gasket
trust me to state the obivous. :-)

dunno if this is true but to make sure it is not leakin put in a load of antifreeze because as this leaks out it furs up making it more obvious to spot a leak
