I've just sold my car so I want to remove the sub and amp from the boot. I don't want to remove the wires (power and sound) as it would be too much of a job.
Is it safe to leave the wires in the boot not connected to anything? If not what should I do.
Thanks in advance for any help

How come you dont you want to remove them? It only takes a few mins to wip the sill covers off and pull them out (presuming thats where you have run them under)

you sold your corsa
Loved that car
Yer tape em up and either remove the live from the battery and attach it somewhere in the bay or take the fuse out. new owner may want them at some point or im sure they are capable of removing them.

I didn't have enough time to remove the wires. The buyer only told me he was coming to collect the car 2 hours before I finished work.
I reckon they would have been to short to reach the boot of my astra coupe to no bother really.
Thanks for the comments gavin18787

Ah I see. I wouldn't want to be taking the interior apart 2 hours before the buyer turned up either
