okay so i am looking to put a backbox on my car, couple of questions

but my standard one hits on the bumps will this still be the case if i put on a aftermarket backbox.

The backbox i am lookin at getting has a 2.5" inlet is this okay

and how do they go on does this involve sawing the old one off nd welding on new one it says it comes with a clamp for easy fitting?

how much do you rekon i shuld be payin to get this fitted

Thnks in advance

Bumps - yes

Inlet - can be stepped up if necessary

Sawing and welding - I would have to see it

Paying - between 30 minutes to an hours labour.

if I translated that properly the answer is "depends what you want the filter for?"
If its for performance you would probably see more gains by wearing fewer clothes while driving.

For sound you will notice a difference.

when i had my backbox put on when i went over bumps the exhaust used to touch on the axle, car is lowered 40mm, i cut a small hose pipe piece and put a tie strip through it to stop it knocking
