my handbrake cables snapped!

i need to get my car jacked up to see where its snapped

if i put it in reverse and jack up the back will it fall on top of me??

whats the safest way to do it??

whack it in reverse and let it roll forward until it stops, chock the front wheels with bricks etc and then get the bitch lifted up

As SRI said use chocks under the wheels just to be safe
