The inlet on these engines is restrictive. Bin that in place of a Mantzel or Dbilas inlet manifold.
They give good gains on the XE's, but do move the power up the rev range.
Couple this with an exhaust manifold, and it should release a few ponies.
TB's are the way forward for big gains!

i quite fancied a red top with a group n chip and cams! Has anyone tried this combination! The current engine seems fine! doesnt use any oil but it keeps needing the plugs changed regular! When plugs get changed car runs like a dream but after a couple of weeks starts to get sluggish and doesnt really like to be reved! Only mod is a k&n induction kit with a cold air kit right off the bumper just below head light and all the vents on the grill and front bumper have been removed so there is plenty of cold air getting to it! so i dont think heat soaks an issue!
