i've got a pair of 300w infinity 6x9s at the moment, and am just wondering would it be any better to get a set of 500w theloudest.com ones instead?
they are aparantely like little subs, but am after loudness and quality rather than bass
would you bother or keep the infinity's? (since the infinitys retail @ 100 a pair)

pk1, you are on about the below speakers, i had these and i was really dissapointed, had them running off a amp. the jbl ones in the secopnd pic were much better and they only cost £35.

i now dont have any 6x9s and im running just 12"sub and 17cm vibe sak front comps, best setup ive ever had

so you mean no rear speakers...just front speakers and a sub?
doesnt that sacrifice sound a bit though since subs just make a 'noise', surely it wouldnt be as 'full' to listen to?

no its better, if you have 6x9s in suxh a small car over the top of the sub, you wont really even notice the subs real potential as the 6x9s are basically fading out the sub. and also fading out the front speakers if they arent that good.
i had a 13cm set of front comps, rear 6x9s and a 12"sub. i decided to get rid of the 6x9s and was only running the 13cm comps and the sub.
it sounded rquite good as you could really hear that the music was in the fropnt of the car, and you could feel the sub better as the 6x9s werent blaring out over the top of it.
so all i did was upgrade my front comps to a good pair, now it sounds brilliant.

I bought some the loudest 500w and with an amp wired up they are very clear and handle bass well. very good all rounders and i think they knock the competition out of the water. shame not many people trust them, ive got everything from them and its the best setup ive heard in a while. go for the loudest ones, they're spot on
