if you get bigger wheels you'll want to lower it more to keep the ride height low.

-20mm on 17's would look piss poor above anything else, and certainly not help the handling.

-40mm on 15's is a good bet.
gmax shocks will do the job, but bear in mind they are 'budget'
if that's what you can afford then get them, they'll be better than standard ones, but if you want it to be strong and handle well get something a little more robust with adjustment.

g max doesnt count as suspension Imo. id far rather have a decent set of oe gas dampers like kyb and some springs than that shite.

I have personal issues with spax, Im they are too hard and the damping rates arent correct.

Im running billie cups and courtenay spriings which are awesome, the quality is excellent, but they really need revalved to be a perfect match to the springs.

FK coilovers are popular and feel nice from the passenger seat, but ive never yet driven a car with them.

my personal choice would be FKs for budget coilovers, courtenay matched kit (uprated springs and billie dampers) if i was keeping std style spring and shock.

money no object, leda/proflex, but really not necessary

prices sound ok. i wouldnt bother with rear coilovers as they really require turrets at the rear to be safe.
