F15 is rated at 150 lb/ft of torque.
If the ratios are the same then there's no other benefit.

later F13CR's have the same ratio's as the F15,
the add a 0 and get the lbs of the box isn't true, havign pulled them apart they are the same except the F10 which has s lsightly different bearing on the input

depends on the ratios.
and think about it... 0-60 in mine (x14xe... not a bananas about what box is in it) is about 10.5s... although i have to change to 3rd to get to 60... if i had a longer box i'd get to 60 quicker a reckon cos 2nd to 3rd shift takes a while. although acceleration would be slower in gear, removing a gearshift is going to take a bit off your time (would like a longer final drive as well cos it drinks like an alcoholic ho)

Spigot shaft on the f10 is a smaller diameter.

andy hamiton ran around with a f10 or f12 on hi 215bhp 1.6
im sure it would be fine for yours
but i would say spend money on the engine, your not near the state of tune where you need to worry about these things

should be c/r. But i fitted a gearbox for a lad last week which was supposed to be a c/r off ebay but turned out to be w/r. So it could be a w/r if it had been changed on the car in the past etc.
Worth £30 though especially delivered!
JR, andys would have been an f10 or f13 not f12(never did one)
