Hi,

I've only had my Corsa a week, so I'm new to all this...

Just wondering, would it be possible to install the 12" cathode tubes in the boot if i just join the + and - to the boot light on the left? I have a Corsa B, not sure if the C is different

yes i belive this is possible

I have done something similar with a set of LED's and the interior light to light up the footwells - works quite nicely

yea, I did it, just make sure you remove the correct fuse first, or it will blow. Just cut into it and install the neons. Actually, better idea, run the cable back to the top mount of the rear suspension, then wire in a female lighter socket. This way, the tubes can be easily removed, plus sometimes they don't work after the lighter has been cut off.

yeah i think that some neons have a starter in the plug

Am thinking of replacing my blue LED's with green cathodes from a PC (as they r cheaper and look to be the same once the PC plug has been cut off) - has any1 done this?

I think it is the same as centre console, whic includes radio and everything. I know because I didn't take mine out!
Fitted it all, got back in the car and no radio, or interior light. Car worked fine, just no light there, so I looked and found a 20 amp, near top left i think, BUT DON'T QUOTE ME!

I have done this! they run fine, I have 5 cathodes from a pc in my car, you just need to cut the positive and earth wires, as there is no starter(resister) in the plug, with the cathodes it is all built into the transformer box
