You seem a bit jealous of people with Astra's Jim, is it because it's 15 years newer than your car, faster, and with better mpg?

So is it tuned if you get a live map then Robin? Or only if you've got a new turbo?

What about a generic map and an FMIC?

How much has his insurance gone up with all those mods?

Wonder what difference no depth perception makes?

I think 3CM has raced a diesel and lost so that's why he doesn't like them.

He said he couldn't get insurance for a Cupra R, so I'm curious to how much a rally tuned vRS is costing him to run.

No answer as of yet.

Seems a few people who were posting in this thread are now banned

Id class mine as being a "tuned" diesel, went further than just a remap and uprated parts to improve where it lacks in standard form. Only reason im tuning a diesel is due to nothing could match the performance for the money, particularly insurance when I was 19. Now im older, can get better prices on a performance petrol but im now trying to save for a house but still want to be able to enjoy having and tuning/modifying my car

Trackdays will become very very popular. Even in the last few years it's so easy to get on one & it's pretty affordable too. So much more fun than driving fast on the road

My nearest track is knockhill, and even that is a 7-8 hour round trip at least. I dont think track days will take off as much in Scotland as there isnt the variety of tracks that there is down in England.
