Been looking on mig to find the source of the whirring noise in my car, which dissapears when the clutch pedal is pressed and found it to be the gearbox in trouble, so im wondering what type of gearbox im going to need and how much im looking at to buy one
Any help will be appreciated

Checked on mig, if it were the release bearing the noise should get louder or at least be there when the clutch is pressed. It dissapears, thus doing the other thing being something else..
