hi mate ive replied to your u2u, its a really hard and fiddly job getting window winder off. if you get a thin screwdriver and prise the window winder forward, you will eventually see its held on by like a circlip. you need to get a really small flat head screwdriver (possibly two) and prise the clip off. the handle will then just come off. its best to get someone to help mate.
good luck

Thanks for all your help everyone. took me and my Dad about 2hours to get it half sorted out. still can't get the glass to go on both the runners and be in the rubber groves on the sides of the door though??! so i've just left it on 1 runner and in both grooves atm just so that i have a window there. however i left the handle off so no 1 can use it!
Any suggestions or ways of sorting it are much appreciated!!
Oh yeh we got that whindy handle off you were right Mikecorsa it is a two man job and a fu*king bas*ard at that lol!

Unpop the plastic sliders from the metal winder arms. Push the sliders into the metal at the bottom of the window. Move the winder arms up to a comfortable mid way position and slide the plastic sliders to meet the ball of the winder arms. Pop them back into place (you need insanely strong thumbs or a G-Clamp)
