yea, same as corsa_boy_matt, as that is what my local garage did, one bloke in the drivers seat hitting the puch, another in the passenger seat pulling on it and another pulling the wheel from standing outside.
Or could always get the garage to do it, mine took the old one off and fitted the new boss for £5

Leave the nut on two turns so the wheel doesn't hit you in the face when it comes off.

good way to knacker the steering column to i managed to pull mine off / tap the wheel forward with a rubber mallet, as Ian says make sure you leave the nut on or ul end ub breaking your nose!!!

Hows it gonna knacker your steering column when it does exactly what the vauxhall puller would do. Hammering a collapsable column is hardly good idea!
Ive used this on numerous vauxhall steering wheels and on an MR2.

The center hole is threaded and the two outer bolts were filed down to fit in steering wheel holes. Also cut a slot in there tops so you could turn allign them with a screwdriver. Centre bolt is M10 and outers are M8.
