Cleaned the car then went for a random drive and took some piccies!

Hopefully fitting my Irmscher GSi spoiler tomorrow - on the look out for a GSi shocks and springs setup atm. Then, ordering Post 97 rub strips to attach! Also after a Post 97 bumper, some form of splitter and possibly DEPO smoked headlights. What u guys think?

cheers - yeh my beasty has done 125, 900 miles!!!! I doubt itl last much past this year! Mind u, picked it up for £450! Had to change clutch which I knakered when learning in it and also changed the wearing handbrake cables and the ORIGINAL brake discs/pads after 125,000!!!!! Other than that, its been a great little car - just got bored of it so fiddled with it a bit! Now gonna get myself another one when this dies!

Nice 1! Yeh how easy was it to fit the GSi spoiler? Slightly concerned about drilling holes in my boot for obvious reasons! Mines only had 3 owners since new - last (old) blokey had it from 1 yr old thru to last January and built up miles from visting family in bolton! Car is immaculate condition and I was soooo lucky to get it for the price I did - therefore, depsite doing everything that I have done to it so far (including the alloys!) Ive not even spent a grand yet! Modifying on a budget .... rock on!

scary thought i know, just take your time and you'll be pleased.
2 parts to it, the actual spoler itself, and the plastic brace.

the brace bolts onto your upper boot, with 6'?' self-tapping screws
the spoiler has 2 bolts which go all the way through the lower boot area- and clips/srews onto the upper brace.

be sure to use some tigerseal/silkaflex bond agent- to stick it proper and help make a waterproof seal.

Well as far as I can tell from millions of pages of History, they dont seem to have been changed! They were badly warped and yes, they were in v bad condition! Pads have been changed yes, but Discs I cant see being changed! other than that though, the car is in pretty good condition for age/mileage etc IMO. Slight bits of rust just starting - but what do you expect for a car of that age?!
