Just had this come up, doesnt do it when i first start the car only after a little run. thing is, i dont have one, im using a astra GTE 89 ECU, Astra manifold, but cav GSI loom.

i took the sensor out at the weekend when i changed my manifold.

Can this be solved easily?

the ecu is going to carry on searching for it no matter what you do

is this the problem you can sort by earthing pin 20? i not sure, i dont wanna do it unless im sure.

dont think so i would not of thought earthing it would make any difference but ther must be a way round it
otherwise no one could de-cat when you find out tell me

hmm if its saying its an open circuit
close the circuit
so earthing it may do it
i would lookinto seeing what signal the ecu is looking for
you may need to put a resistor on it

the ecu should be lookin for an oscilating voltage which im guessin is governed by a resited earth?
