Bought these dials for my corsa...
ebay auction click here
And Im just getting down to fitting them, got the old dash out and connector out, but can't seem to find the little green wire which operates the rev counter? Where abouts in the loom is it located?

Oh by the way its a '98 1.2 8v merit

Im sure I've read on here they do, but the wire is taped up in the loom somewhere?

Also do I have to get a new connector for it to fit on the main plug behind the dials?

Where in the wiring loom should i find the rev counter wire(green?)

I have pulled the insulation tape off all of the wiring that comes in from the engine bay up to the plug that goes into the back of the speedo, can only see 1 green wire that goes into the fuse box??

HELP

yep,
it's inside the driver's footwell, located right front the driver's door. you should remove the plastic cover and there you should see the ECU with all the wires. then look for a green one that's going out of the ECU - that's the one you need.
