I understand that 18mm ply wood is ideal for boot builds, but what glue do you use to insure the build doesnt fall apart by the bass on the sub. i have 2 mtx ones and theyre bassy enuf so help! Also what material is best to use once base is complete?

Use wood glue on all meeting edges, pre-drill, counter-sink & screw every inch or so... and if you're feeling frisky, you could always mix up a bit of glass fibre (bridging compound) & "seal" all the edges from the inside.

Make sure the box is correctly secured in the car! Don't want it to turn into a 30inch projectile, in the event of an accident do you?

It depends how much wood you're buying... what system you putting in? and how are you planning to lay it out? Are you wanting a stealth install, or a full boot? and how do you plan to finish it? Alcantara? Cloth? Leather? Vinyl? Painted fibreglass?... It all depends mate!
