An engineering place will have them pressed in/out with a hydraulic press and a special rig. However you can remove them by:
1 - place head in oven @ 200 degrees
2 - remove with oven gloves or welding gauntlets
3 - place on an old bit of wood
4 - use a hold punch or similar and a hammer to smash them out (they only go in/out through the top, not the chamber)
5 - if they are not for moving, try using some lockite freezer spray, altho use the nozzle as 200 degrees to -40 in a split second will do your head no good if any of it sprays on.
Do 8 valves at a time then put it back in the oven, it will cool down pretty quickly.
To insert new ones, do the oven trick again and keep the guides in the freezer, bash them in with a hammer and observe the correct heights.
Still fancy it?

cool
£150 is not too bad if your getting the seats recut etc. At least this way if anything goes wrong you can always go back, where as preheating a head to 200 degrees then beating it with a hammer and drift does sound dangerous.
