Yeah, but wont be as flexible as this one before spending more money on lenses! I just want a good allrounder that wont need upgrading within my first year of learning!

persoanlyl I se it as a waste of money buying these high priced point and click camera's you wold have been much better buying the s5600 if you want to practice. I bought a dSLR to learn with it had an 18-55 lens I had no other one and I got by with no problem

Depends how you look at it really! I WAS concidering the 5600, but was appealed by the ekstra features as well as high resolution of the 9500.
Had i gone for the D50 you could have said, that an extra 100 quid would get me a 350D!
I decided to spend no more than 450£ and this seemed an obvious choice at that pricerange.
