Depends how you look at it really! I WAS concidering the 5600, but was appealed by the ekstra features as well as high resolution of the 9500. | |

persoanlyl I se it as a waste of money buying these high priced point and click camera's you wold have been much better buying the s5600 if you want to practice. I bought a dSLR to learn with it had an 18-55 lens I had no other one and I got by with no problem | |
