just got my corsa and its been running bad juddering, its just had a new tank and i could smell petrol while driving
the main problem was its been running on 3 cylinders so i checked the plug that it wasnt firing on and it was flooding in that cylinder

then i took it for a run to see if i could clear it or if it was just running bad because iv cleaned the throttle body out with carb cleaner

when i got back i noticed there was petrol pouring out from under the car and as i was at my garage i put it on the ramp and took it up so i could see where it was coming from i saw it was coming out of a rubber pipe that goes with the fuel pipes under the car, it this meant to be connected to the throttle body or is it some kind of overflow?

to stop it coming out i opened the petrol cap and then it sucked in and stopped, i checked the breather for the tank and thats ok afaik

when i started it up again petrol poured down the exhaust and lit

so i managed to put it out but theres something wrong

iv had the fuel pump out aswell

its running on three again now as it i putting waay to much fuel through

sorry for the long post, anything you dont understand just ask as i was rushing while typing this
hope someone can help

Isn't there two pipes that go to the engine from the tank - supply hose and return hose?

its coming from the front of the car, was coming from a pipe behind the engine and sometimes it pours down the exhaust somehow

I think the only open rubber hose is the one that comes from the fuel tank vent valve.

Only thing i could suggest is the fuel pump relay could be stuck open when you turn the car on causing it to deliver fuel constantly

would it do this if the pipes on the pump were the wrong way around?
