how do i wire these up?

and also how can i make the wires longer...coz they wont reach footwell

i havent a clue lol

theres 2 neons, leadin to the shiny metal box, leadin to a red wire with switch on the end, and a wire with nothin on end

from the box there should b 2 wirers a red and black the red is live and the black or brown is earth

take them to someone who knows what theyre doing

red connect to the battery with a fuse at some point, black is grounded on the body of the car

If you just chop the wires going to the ciggy lighter, and attatch them to that. Then the switch will fit tidyly into the cig lighter socket

in the drivers foot well on the left side theres a peace of black plastic with two screws in. I unscrewed that and next to the top screw hole behind the plastic theres a bigger hole which the switch will fit into. just make an hole for the switch in the plastic bit next to the top screw so its inline and put the silver box behind the ashtray and also add the red & black wires to the cig lighter wires

would take pics of mine mate but digi cam hasn't come yet! if you still need help in a few days when it comes i will post pics up for you.

the red from your switch needs to go to a power source e.g. your battery and then the black from the silver box needs to go to a ground e.g. negative on battery....

extend the wires to either ure battery or just locate it near somewhere with a ground and power e.g. ciggarette lighter or amplifier.
