Heya guys an' girls.....having a bit of a nightmare at the mo! Drove through two....rather large potholes on the weekend and for some rather strange reason, the speedo is going awol now 
I drive a '04 plate SRi with a few tweeks here and there - and everytime i drive, the speedo flickers, sometimes straight down to 0 which is worrying as i can't tell how fast i'm driving - other than the Rev counts which appears to be fine! 
The car is still under warranty so i could take it back to Vauxhall but it means i have to take some mods off - anyone got any ideas? I've tried playing about with the speed sensors as i'm assuming there could be a fault with them but i'm having no such luck 
Any comments and speedy responses will be much appreciated - as i would like to stay a law abiding citizen of the road - like fcuk!

check the obvious things, plugs on the sender, continuity in the wiring etc... if nothing obvious take it back to vaux. will be cheaper in the long run.
