Im having trouble with my brakes at the mo because of this bias valve. Ive only lowered the car 40 and the rear keeps locking up under really heavy braking. Im only running the standard front brakes at the mo (1600 16v sport) but i need to do something soon cos its dangerous!!

When ya lower your car, look at the spring on the bias valve, doesn't this extend and add pressure to some valve, it thinks u have alot of people in the back of the car so its trying to compensate for this. Most of the time u wont have any weight in the back hense why it may lock up under heavy breaking!

My spring snapped on my old car and i just left it, maybe u can just take it off!?

I dont see how it can fail as long as the brakes operate to the minimum specifications. My spring rusted and fell off!

is it only sports and GSis etc that have these adjustable valves? mine started life as a 1.2 8v im sure i dont have one. Can you adjust the bias without one?
