as above ! cant go wrong with either just make sure theres a good cold air feed

ive just got a K&N Appolo, from a cheap K&N, really amazin what a gd induction kit can do! - forced induction

no cones, my mate has k&n , sounds poo, ive had pipercross sounded realy good but kept getting flatspots, i hjave now pipercross replacement element in original airbox that is now drilled with cold air feed, sounds the same but runs better.

pipercross Viper on my GSi with out air feed connected sounds LOVELY, deep low gargly note, much better than KnN and pipercross vector that i had and no flat spots

Without drilling the box would the replacement air filer panel sound the same as the standard filter ? I'm guessing so.

Replaceing the element wont change the sound, its drilling the air box which affects the sound.
