Hello, Ive just had my car (1998 Corsa 1.0 12v) serviced and my exhaust was blowing, so I took it to kwik fit and they want 273 quid for a new cat, motosave want 188 and the scrappers wants 40 quid.
How easy are these to replace yourself?
Cheers

think the cat in a the 12v is right up at the manifold so its the whole downpipe... its easy enough.. if yer hand with a spanner...
yes here we go...

Right cheers, the guy in the scrappers did say that the 12v had two different types of Cat, and im pretty sure mine is a bit more "segmented" than the one pictured.
Cheers for the help anyway, if anyone can confirm that the 12v uses two different Cats, it would be appreciated.
