Hey guys,

I've bought a new little 10 mega pixel digital camera to take on holiday with me but i can't seem to get the pics very good.

I have loads of different options but don't know what ones to have on or off !!

Whats the mountain / flower symbol mean ? should i have the flash on auto ? what about the picture of the eye ?

I know these or seem like silly questions but can't seem to get it right.

Mountain is for taking landscape pics.

Flower is Macro pics, the close ups.

Picture of the eye will be for red-eye

I'm not an expert, normally have the flash on auto though.

I suggest you read the manual that came with the camera

Don't use the screen, that eats battery, and don't check your pics after you've taken them. This is called chimping and only done by photographers who are not confident in what they are doing.
