head unit not saving time, radio presets etc but it's not because of the wiring it's always worked before fine. It doesn't turn on while key is in ACC position and it ejects CD when turned on after being off for a bit. Its a Sony CDX head unit. Dunno wot to do!

Just because the wiring used to work ok doesnt mean that nothing could have come loose, have you ripped it out and tried looking?
Sounds more like an earthing issue to me but check everywhere.

well just wired up an amp without earthing wud that be why?
