You'll need a sensor for all the toys the MFD supports.
You'll have temp. from your existing MFD, but the blue socket is where all the interesting stuff comes from.

There's something on my oil sump and I think I've seen something on EPC for brake pads, etc... not sure what else the GSi MFD can do.

Can you run the MFD without all of these sensors connected and install at a later date?

Id be interested in having most orking except the check control, not too fussed about that as ive heard its a nightmare!

I'd have thought so. The small plug should do the power.

I think its one of those "system" checks, that when ignition is turned on, it checks all sensors washer fluid level etc etc etc and tells u if anyhting is worng/empty.

For e.g Washer fluid low

Wouldnt mind it, but im guessing the amount of sensors and wire is going to be a bit of a nightmare

Just do them over time.
You'll probably find the check control picks up all the faults then if they're not wired to anything.

Have you got a list of the features?
