I ask the question because i have no idea if mine has them or not? its a 1998 1.6 16v sport and i have tried turning the key in the lock position and holding it their but nothing happens?!

Didnt know whether it was an optional extra or whether something has fucked up sumwhere?!

Any clues?

i think all those with central locking did have.

Your sport certainly had. You have to turn the key a full 90 degrees and then remove it in the horizontal position. Sorry if you already knew that.

yours should have it...if you have to turn it right over to the left just to lock it, there is a small piece inside the lock barrel that breaks causing the deadlocks not to work.

My 1998 S reg corsa sport 1.6 16V had dead locks but i never used them.
