Holla

The Engine+gearbox are in finally, passenger and drivers side mounts all sorted just waiting for some info on the gearbox mount.

My question is, what should I do next?

Obviously the things I have to do are:

  • Fit loom from cav
  • fit water/oil pipes
  • exhaust
  • filter
  • driveshafts
  • hubs/stuff
  • aux belt
  • water tank
  • radiator

But I'm not sure what order I should do it in, as doing a certain item for another may make it harder then it can be.

Cheers for reading.

Plumb it all in first, water and oil pipes, then loom, but belts on then filters etc, put driveshafts and hubs and stuff together last (saves it all coming apart again if you miss something)

Then put oil and water in it... fire up and have fun

I'm concerned about the plumbing, it all looks very tight and confusing!

its very easy the plumbing dood, as long as ya stuck all the hoses on the engine first before ya stuck it in, i would have plugged all the sensors in too before it went in.
Just grind the lip off the corsa gearbox mount, easy as PIE

i did:

Electrics,
Gear Linkage,
Plumbing,
Exhaust,
Hubs/Bearings
Rad
Water Tank
CV's and Driveshafts
Brakes & suspension

rear box mount goes:

[]=Bolt===Mount===spacer===Box

put both long bolts in the box, then use the crane/jack to manoover the engine so the other end of the mount lines up with the part thats bolted to the body.
