i havent removed the headlight my car yet but i know its loose underneath.
im guessing it like the nova and theres a little white clip underneath
my headlight is loose so im guessing its this clip that buggered
am i right

mine is loose too... i think its just the way the clips work. think it rests on it so the headlight can move up a bit but not down if that makes any sense? had my headlight out b4 and nothin was broken so it could be a common thing

you are right mate...there is a lug on the back of the headlight that pushes into the clip like on the nova...(i had a nova aswell). few pence from vaux. they normally break cos they go brittle.

 thought so when a mate and i welded a new front on i remeber pissing bout with that clip
ill get a couple of clips my whole front is gonna be taken off for inspection so i can replace that while im at it
