150 will be ok but 300 will be better

But as mobymaster will tell you he has had shitloads of problems with a modified sine wave cheapy invertor, then he bought a true sine wave 150w one from Maplin for £70 and it works a treat.
Xbox only surges over 150w for a few seconds when booting

I have an xbox running in my car now.
Tried loads of normal invertors and all were shoot. Loads of interfearance on the screen and from the speakers.
Tried the 150w true sine invertor from maplins, and all is good. Not had anyproblems with it, had a m8 playing on it for a good few hours while i was fiddling in the boot.
Dont go for a cheapo one, coz you;ll have no end of problems.
