tested one of my new subs for bout a min and it started 2 smell of burnin is this normal? will it go ? hope so spent 120 on em

yeah its burning, turn it down.


this is probably wat your voice coil will start to look like if you dont keep gains low

just break them in over say a month or so, turning them up very gradually from nearly nothing.

the voice coil hasnt been used before, so all the movement striaght away will just burn it out
