They are a nightmare to get off, i had a mate use a pro dremal on mine but if you search there is some talk of someone useing the base of a spoon but this was a while back.

Personnally i would leave the origanal one on.

its fecking horrible tho its coming off if the last thing i do! ill try a dremel a spoon n a flame thrower if need be! any more tips would be ace

Was a nightmare i fitted a steinmetz one and in the diagram shows u can remove it with mole grips a bit of a twist and off it comes.

Deff did not for me! just keep at it as said i had to dremal mine off

You need to heat it first to remove soften the glue then, turn it side to side whilst pulling up
