Bought it last night For £30, didnt think it was a bad buy

Off 2ltr xe made to fit the gsi and heat wrapped, air flow should be better just something diff to try

would you not risk a loss of compression?

Or am I getting confuddles with my 2-stroke engines??

cool, should be an improvement on the cast set up, where are you having the flange cut and welded??

Im having the flange on the bottom in the position the new one is just gonna join it to the straight through section i got to the backbox then

I mean the flange that bolts it on to the head?? the 20XE isn't the same.

Back pressure will be lost low down, but will mean there will be less higher up the rev range improving scavenage and hence power, low end power on a 16v is pap anyways, it's not a diesel

yeh its got the gsi flange on, i held them upto each other and their the same holes in same position too etc
