The other day wired up my amp and sub - perfect
Today i made my acoustic shelf and attached it all. Just went and fitted it all, wired it to the AMP and all i get is a fizzy sound. I can see that the 6x9 are producing base as thing moves like fcuk.
Whats wrong what have i not done????
I intend to take it down halfords tommorow as i bought the 6x9s from there, but would prefer to get it sorted my self.
I have a JBL 4 channel, somewhere around 540 Watt Amp.
At the moment it is only running a 1000 watt Sub
The 6x9s are Infinity 300 Max Watt

have u connected the positive output of your amplifier to the big connection on your 6x9 and negative to the smaller one?

Almost certain the amp was set to low pass for subs.
