right, ive been working on engine over xmas, swapped ICV for new one, check all of inlet manifold, tightened all bolts etc.
only thing i havnt done is coolant temp sensor. Could this be causing my car too idle at 2000rpm? mainly does it when warm/hot after running for few mins.
any other ideas?
realy bugging me know and using loads of petrol idling like this all the time!!

Check the pipe that goes from air box to throttle body they tend to get holes in em near where they join the throttle body, also spray wd40 round ya inlet manifold while engine is running and listen for a change in engine speed, dont think CTS would cause these symptoms,

i had the same prob, changed ICV and it turned out to be the black pipe thats connects the Top part of the inlet to teh Throttle bodie, there 25+ VAT from vaux

i have velos so tb is bolted straight onto inlet checked gasket and no leaks.

change the temp sensor man.... this is going on a while now...

^^doing it 2moz, any other ideas, sensors i should prob try/change whilst i am at vauxhall tomorrow with my parts list !!
