courtesy of lee gsi, cheers

just wondering where they'd be best mounted.

was thinking of maybe a triple pod in place of or on top of the mfd,
http://www.rallydesign.co.uk/catalog/images/GM3U.jpg

or an a-pillar pod. i don't like them on the pillar, but thought about on the crash bar thing infront of the passenger so they're facing driver?
http://www.rallydesign.co.uk/catalog/images/GM3R.jpg

or make something else entirely?
i just don't know

i dont mate i was gona make a pod myself but dident get round to it so jus bored a hole in the crash pannel n fitted it in flush (well part sits flush n its not good to see from the drivers side lol) givesa the pasenger sumert to look @ but im likein the idea of a pillar pod that would give you the angle to sit it in so you the driver could see it (think i might try this myself)

the idea of guages is so that you can look at them without taking your eyes too far off the road,
i.e a pillar guages or around the dials in race/rally cars!
crash panel is way to far from drivers eye,
i will be mounting my boost and afr guage on either a pillar pod or heater vents

want to keep the radio really. may take the dash vents out and move the hazard switch.

oil temp is a better guide to when the engine is warm than coolant temp, so that's usefull.
voltage i would say was pretty handy to have. lots of cars have that as standard.
oil pressure, probably wont be of huge benefit, but it'll be nice to keep an eye on for peace of mind.

saying that, oil pressure is pretty vital

I'd rather turn the car off quick sharp if i noticed the pressure dropping

I got EL oil temp, oil pressure and volt meter gauges going in soon, already got them waiting I got a double pillar mounted pod for oil pressure and temp, and either gonna fit voltmeter on the dash somewhere or in the boot as part of the install
