aint bought it yet, was considering it because BBG have got the 300wrms d2ohmVC at £135. I may indulge, depending on what price i can get it for when i buy the sub.

JL are good, but not amazing, i run exactly that sub and tbh it hasnt over impressed me, especially in the SQ area...
There are also plenty of louder subs about too, but they do look very nice.

the 300w rms is the killer, the RE SE is a muchbetter sub, similar price but runs at 600w rms.
The other contender at that price is MTX 5500, i have heard good things about them but not heard one personally.

I was going to do a fiberglass install or construct my own, but i really need to keep it simple. Its an enclosed boot on my megane coupe and its would be an absolute arse to build anything in there. Depending on whether i keep my car in the next twelve months, i may decide differently.

build a fibre glass box which is simple to take in and out, if ur spending money on a monster amp like that u may aswell spend it on a decent box as well or ur amp wnt be running to its full level

I might well do it, my girlfriends brother makes fiberglass boats and i have talked him into it, will use the twin 12 box until be have designed it and figured out what we need and what he can nick from work. Im shelling out loads on the equipment at the moment so will have to wait a few months before we start on it, and id rather do something like that in the summer as neither of us have a garage. Also there is a possibility of me changing the car before the end of the year so i might wait for that.
Should be getting the amp in a few days and just got a loada cash for my birthday so im shoppong for my comps soon. Gonna pop to my local ICE shops and see if i can get focal 165V2's for under 200 quid otherwise im getting te genesis P16's.
