yes i know, it can be improved greatly by a FMIC
the 1.5 TD turbo does 0.65bar stock, by doing 1 bar you are already giving a lot of aditional boost to the turbo. it can do up to 1.2bar but don't count on doing many miles with all that boost

The boost takes 2 mins to do with an allen key. If your cars not lowered, you wont even need to jack it up. Get the boost to around 17-18PSi.

Who did your fuelling?

i seem to remember someone telling me the 1.7TD turbo had a different fitting and had to be fitted upside down..?

yes, the 1.7 turbo is poiting down cause it has intercooler and the intercooler hose is below the turbo. to put it in the 1.5 it's easy, you just have to turn the turbo's mouth up
another option is to tranform the 1.5 turbo in a hybrid one so it can handle more pressure

1bar sounds good
more than that with the original turbo is to fuck up your engine and your turbo...

why invest in a conversion to a 2.0l if you can have a 1.5TD with 240HP?

the 240HP corsa has an extra electric fuel pump so more fuel can be injected. oil cooler, intercooler, more pressure in the oil pump, hybrid turbo, complete exhaust system 72mm, diferent camshaft, forged pistons, and much more

So all said and done, is it worth tuning the 1.5TD corsa?

I have one which is coming up on 5 years, with just over 90,000 miles on it, but is going a treat.. its never been touched, and I would like atleast another 90,000 out of it, how far can I go without compromising its reliability..

Did the mod and got very little difference, maybe got a little more power - but mainly just the odd cloud of black smoke.
Should there be engine oil on the pump diaphragm?! Mine was black with oil
(90k on the clock)
