the stuff that cracks is the filler -thats y u want to use as little as possible

when u see smoothed arches that have cracked - 9 times out of 10 - its cause theyve been done either entirely with filler or too much filler

the actual job of smoothing both mirrors should take u 3-4 hours with a bit of sitting around letting things go off

So i should use as much P40 as posible and all little P38 as possible to finish it off? Cool.

Its really not that hard to do, you just have to take your time and sand everything down until its perfect. Heres some pics from when i did mine (the holes are for leds to be used as side repeaters btw)

basically - but dont let the P40 come above the join - cause onces its hrd its bstard to trim or sand down

everyone assumes all bodywork costs a fortune and is difficult, in reality the only thing most people couldn't do is the spraying.
bodywork is very easy to do. the reason bodyshop costs are so high is not cos its hard but because it just takes time to make perfect.

and dont use p40 on plastic, it doesnt stick very well, use plastic bumper fill, its flexable
