My mate has an L-reg 8v Sri (Not sure wat exact engine but it's got the power sterring and all the other extras - Damn Him!!!) His handbrake light just wont go off, we've had a look underneath etc. but there's no apparent binding and the handbrake works just as it should. Has anyone got the foggiest as to what cud b wrong with this as it's drivin him mad? Cheers ppl

i thought that there was a switch around the handbrake that controlled the light, as you slould be able to hear it click on and off before you actually apply any stress to the cable...

my guess would be that it's got stuck on, see if you can find a switch in the area, when i get home from work i'll have a look at the wiring diagram and make sure.
