Thinking of lowering 60mm on standard shocks, what would the ride be like, and how long would last before it all fcuks up???

u will reduce the life span of ure shocks considerably id recommend gettin uprated ones while u are gettin the work done if u are considering keepin the car a while save u gettin them done at a later date

Mine has been dropped 60mm on standard shocks for months and months and are still going but the ride is shocking

Thinking of having it done next weeks some time. Can't really afford new shocks at the moment. How about 40mm springs? what would it be like then?

any springs other than the standard one to go with ure standard shocks will put more strain on than were designed to

u never know ure shocks may be on their last legs already and the new springs may quicken the road to knackerdness

i fitted coilovers to my car 6 months ago and have recently learnt the hard way id of been as well fitting poly bushes as my bump stops are now knackerd and banging to buggery

been lowered 60 for 2 years on standard shocks, even had 7 in my car when going up town, standard wheels not a problem
