Just get a K&N replacement panel, it will cost you £30 and give you 2 or 3 bhp extra and no noise

it wont give you 2/3bhp extra, u'll get increased throttle response and thats it
K&N are the quieter of the cones if you want an induction kit

well pipercross make the PVD BFO cone. I would sooner get a pipercross rather than a K&N

the pipercross cone and the bf ocone are made by pipercross but the bfo cone is alot bigger and louder. if you want small noise then go for the drilled air box route and panel filter. sounds good. or maybe a viper, i have one and it sounds mint!

yeah i agree, but he can't get a BFO for a Corsa C 1.4 so pipercross is the other option

nah mate just heard both a pipercross and a K&N on a 1.6 sport and the pipercross sounds better. I am entitled to my opinion

well if all you go for is sound then you may aswell stick a piece of your ma's tights over the end of your intake and run no air filter at all
on the other hand....
K&N is made from cotton, has better filteration and doesnt deterioate have as quick as the foam PiperX, which in the end, will inevitably leads to little bits of foam being sucked into your intake - lovely jubbly
