fibre glass some bolts onto them, then drill holes intho where your old plastic arches used to go on the car's body, and use a nut to fasten them.

if you fill them with fibreglass they will be pretty heavy, and may distort when the fibreglass dries.
you could bond them on with 'tigerseal' (brand name of automotive glue)

tigerseal round the edges might be ok, but it would be much better to bolt them. then you will be able to take them off if they get damaged etc etc.

my mate has done that on her corsa.

do what you sed .fill with fibre glass and put cling film over the car.push the arch against the car where it is going to bond on, with cling film between car and arch.take off let it dry ,and you now have a perfect fit .then bond it on with tigerseal.or screw through the arch into bodywork then skim over the screw holes with filler

put some fibreglass up on the top edge, then press it onto the car which you have covered in cling film, hold till dry, once dry remove, trim /sand excess fibreglass, then bond on and run a bit of filler round the top edge.

oh and cut the metal arch out from behind, then weld the 2 rear skins together then paste it with underseal.
