I bought some little JBL 4"x6" speakers for my Nova years ago. Had them in there for about 6 months and since then they've been in my wardrobe doing nothing.

What do I need to check for to see if I can connect them up to my old bedroom stereo ?

Speakers on the stereo currently arn't too bad, but Im bored and want something to do.

Don't want to connect em and have em go pop tho !

You'll need to make sure the impendance of the speakers is compatible with the stereo. Most home stereos run 6-8ohms and car speakers run 1-4ohms. You could blow the amp on the sereo if you get this wrong.

LOL ! @ all that

Thanks. It's working okay at the moment, sounds pretty good. Seems only time will tell

Might it blow up if I turn it up too loud? Fortunately the thing is like 10 years old + anyway !

There is, but because it's not a snug fit, it kind of echos !

But I guess that's the reason I dont have much bass from them at the moment ??

Not sure what to do tbh
