i want to buy some lowering springs for my 1.0, but i can only afford springs. Which springs are best to have when you are still running standard shockers ?? and which will lower a true 40mm all round??

cheers

eibach do a lower drop than that. They have a new range out called sportline.

PI are a good spring never had any complaints with them.
Apex never seem to be accurate.
Avo are good, no complaints.
ROC, also ok, no complaints.
H&R, excellent springs but pricey.
G-MAX, DONT BOTHER. Just shite but do what they say on the tin

Gimmie a shout and il do ya a deal. Im doing Pi springs cheap at the moment.

If i chose eibach springs, do they do the damper sets for a resonable price or would it be better to hold on till i can afford a full set ??

do pi offer a good ride then cos i don't want it too hard and bouncy especially round where i live, bloody pot hole city round our way !!!

Also if i went for 17's of an offset of 45 with 205/40's on and lowered it 40mm ON SPRINGS would i still be able to take ppl in the back after doing the obvious de-bolting ??

30mm is plenty unless you want to kill your shocks.
